Job Description
IT Senior Officer (Service) is responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services, and providing technical assistance to end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the IT services team, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all systems and services.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and support of network architecture, offering insights on user-related issues and asset management.
- Take responsibility for the design, installation, and maintenance of networks, ensuring optimal system functionality and security.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for troubleshooting and system maintenance.
- Manage issue resolution, scheduling, and performance reviews while mentoring junior team members.
- Escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for network-related issues, facilitating communication and troubleshooting across teams.
- Align IT infrastructure operations with strategic business objectives, ensuring the implementation of IT solutions to meet organizational goals.
- Supervise junior employees, ensuring they adhere to system requirements and follow established procedures accurately.
- Communicate network performance, service availability, and updates to management, partners, and peers regularly.
- Coordinate duty shifts for operations staff, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and coverage for all shifts to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure the highest possible service availability and system performance, proactively addressing potential issues. Install, configure, and maintain client hardware systems, security devices, digital devices, and software applications as required.
